To understand both the diseases you have to understand how it affects your body and the certain level of risks it can provoke, for instance anti-GBM diseases also known an Goodpasture Syndrome are as said in the introduction part, known to be a rare disorder that involves in terms of affecting your kidney or lung. This is an autoimmune disorder when the immune system accidentally attacks and destroys the healthy body issue.


Then the syndrome gets developed which releases a substance that attacks a protein called “collagen” which is in tiny air sacs of your lungs and also the filtering units of the kidneys.


These substances are known as “Antiglomerular basement membrane antibodies”. Which helps the glomerular basement membrane which is an interior part of the kidneys to help filter waste and extra fluid from the blood.


Despite being a rare disease it’s dangerous to and occurs to the people who range in age from 20-30 or older sometimes to 60 and mostly is provoked to men .The syndrome is usually fatal but proper diagnosis and treatment will do to attain stability.


Goodpasture can develop into an infection like cold or flu. Which will turn on a longer run 


Causes and Symptoms

Syndrome perhaps for now it’s believed to run in families so genetics has a major role to play or combinations of other factors like dry cleaning chemicals or weed killer and viral infections.

The treatment can be included are Immunosuppressive medicines which medicines help your immune systems from making antibodies which are at a greater risk for infections,

Which are prescribed antibodies and you of two more which are Corticosteroids and Plasmapheresis which includes decrease of inflammation and tissue damage which then helps control bleeding.


A process where the blood plasma is cleaned of harmful antibodies so for this steroids are used in Plasmapheresis.




Usually there is less chance of preventing Goodpasture Syndrome, But there is a lower risk by avoiding tobacco ,smoking and chemicals that will trigger the disorder.

Possible Complications are Chronic Kidney Disease, End stage Kidney Disease, lung Failure and escalation of glomerulonephritis.
